GEODI Project Wizard defines the interfaces users will use, the resources they will see, authorizations, default views and many other rules.

This course gives you a general idea, for details you should refer to the detailed support pages.

Scope

1. We will cover the topics in Project Wizardpage.

2. A new project start with a template. You may choose a blank template but it is much easier to choose a template for your purpose, such as PCI/DSS, GDPR or SAMA. If these templates does not show, then you should open DECE-STORE to get them. DECE-STORE

3. The second page is data sources. You add as many data source as you need. Each source may have dişfferent settings. You may have OCR open in one, set sampling in another etc.

4. We will not cover each source separately but the Folder and Database.

5. The second page is for the scope of Discovery. If you started wşth a template then recognizers should have been ready. You may add/remove.

6. Last page you give a name and finish. The permisisğons for project are also set here. You may set some permission per data source as well.

7. You will need advanced settings to set some reports and panels visible to some users.
