MediaMon is a social media monitoring tool. It makes SM messages searchable and analyzes them just like any other content. You can promote Twitter, Facebook and Instagram sources.

Citizen/Customer Relations

MediaMon can be used as a tool for institutions and organizations to build relationships with citizens or customers. Directing a message from social media to the relevant units can enable much faster action on important messages with GEODI notification capabilities. In this way, SM becomes a 24/7 team member. Source data is not limited to the SM. e-Mails or forms on the organization's web page are also included in the process.

Incoming messages also appear on the map depending on their content. You also do not need to make a GIS integration. With a message like the one given below, 112 streets will appear on the map. For GEODI it does not matter if this message has a separate location in itself, Sincan will also be marked.

I live in 112 Street, Sincan. We want a nice playground for our neighborhood.

These messages are automatically or manually forwarded to the relevant unit by the GEODI note-taking mechanism.

Trend Monitoring

For a larger dataset, MediaMon can also conduct trend research for questions such as which topics are popular or how much competitor products are being talked about. It can report topics as well as hashtag and tweet frequencies for different times. You can automatically extract topics/emotions with custom recognizers or our TextPro classification tool. GEODI's synonymization capabilities will significantly eliminate differences in the data.

Hashtag and Mention Recognizer

With MediaMon, recognizers are added that recognize Hashtag (#x) or Mention (@x) phrases in content. These phrases are used in the MediaMon Media Monitoring Panel. Hashtags and Mentions are also the keys that link the content for GEODI Discovery.

Media Monitoring Panel

It shows the frequency and time distribution of hastags and mentions on your social media sources. Panel content will change according to the queries you make in GEODI.

Twitter Source Identification

First of all, you must have a Twitter account. With the Twitter Account associated with GEODI;

  • You can read tweets from the timeline or from a search on Twitter. GEODI accepts tweets from your account and tweets from accounts followed by this account as content. Depending on our selection, you can also include links in tweets, mentions and tweets. The older tweets you can see in a Twitter search, the further back GEODI can go in its search.

  • While GEODI is doing all this, it cannot access your private messages, nor can it see the e-mail address linked to your account or your Twitter password. You can disconnect GEODI from your Twitter account at any time.

GEODI can also analyze search results by searching open tweets. For this purpose, you can perform detailed searches based on word, person, place and date. With GEODI, you can categorize search criteria with positive, negative, question ? options, while you can add and remove retweeted tweets in your searches with the "Include retweets" option.

Facebook Source Identification

  • You can search through posts shared and comments made on Facebook. If you want, you can read your own and followed posts by specifying a username and password, or you can browse without logging in by adding public pages to the addresses section.

    • You can retrieve the posts that fall into the query result you want on Facebook. You can add these expressions to the query box.

  • All posts that the user can see are scanned. With automatic scanning, you can set it to scan only new posts in certain periods.

  • You can get previews of these posts with the index images on the page option.

Instagram Source Identification

  • You can use the posts made by the pages on Instagram as a content source. There are two modes on Instagram. Api and browser navigation mode;

    • In API mode, it is absolutely necessary to log in with an account. Only the posts of this account and the posts in the stream are read. No settings other than account login are required.

    • In browser browsing mode, public pages can be scanned with links to be added to the Addresses section without logging in. Or by logging in, the links of the pages followed by this account are added and these pages are also scanned.

    • Unlike Facebook, no query is specified. There is no word query on Instagram. Only accounts come to the search result.
