MOBIDI Office is the server application, and MOBIDI is the mobile application. This document contains requirements for both applications. MOBIDI works on iOS and Android devices, MOBIDI Office users access the system through an internet browser(Like Chrome, Firefox or Edge).

You can use MOBIDI Office in 2 ways.

  1. On your private network or cloud servers under your control. This document is valid for this model.

  2. Our SaaS service(www.mobidi.com) where you do not need to have any server.

These numbers assume 1 photo/record. Every 200-300 photo requires an extra 1GB.

Server type

Any physical or virtual server that matches the requirements will work. Also, a server from Azure, Amazon or other cloud services will be fine.

In case you need and allow, our teams may access to your system using team viewer application. Please use the following IP for a safe connection.

 

Communication Issues

MOBIDI, The Mobile App and MOBIDI Office communicates in two different modes. You may choose anyone now, and change to the other afterwards. This choice does not affect mobile users.

Through a Cloud Storage

Through a Cloud Storage is the default one. There is nothing required after setup.

  • This method has about 10min latency for record flow and May not allow high traffics.

  • You do not need a public address for MOBIDI Office while you may have one. If you do not have a public address the MOBIDI Office may only have one user.

Direct Connection

Direct Connection is for higher traffic and lower latency.

  • A public address must be set. You probably need an IT expert to do that.

  • Requires a fixed IP and Port forwarding for default port:3324(or any other you define)

  • Users can access the system from the internet&intranet.

 

MOBIDI Mobil App Issues

MOBIDI app is on Google Play ve Apple Store. MOBIDI Works on

  • Android 4.4 ve up

  • iOS 11.0 ve up

An SMS will be sent to the defined users to guide them for installation.

MOBIDI may work offline. All photos, videos and other data stay on the smartphone memory as long as local storage allows. When an internet connection found (Wi-Fi, or 3G..) -data will be sent. This is auto, no intervention is required.

MOBIDI is suitable and strongly recommended for the BYOD(Bring Your Device) model. This model is more practical for both the users and the organizations. Our customers mostly prefer BYOD.
