GEODI keeps a lots of logs about users' activities and their own activities. These logs provide many benefits such as monitoring activities, analysis with tools such as SIEM, finding and fixing errors. We use GEODI Logs for tracking transactions such as security, system errors, system changes.

Below you will find a detailed explanation of the logs that GEODI has recorded. Thanks to the information here, you can better interpret the information provided by SIEMs. A few summary reports that GEODI extracted from the logs are also described on this page.

Usage Logs

Usage logs keep the activities of users and system administrators in GEODI interfaces. Each transaction is a line and contains the time of the transaction and the details of the transaction.

Usage logs are in CSV format under \\AppData\Roaming\Dece\Logs\GEODI\AppUsage.

Process Memory(Kb)	The memory used at the time the log was written.
Process Max Memory(Kb)	The peak memory usage has reached.

Error Logs

These are the records of errors that occurred during the GEODI operation.

AppError

In AppError, there are explanations of the errors originating from the server in GEODI.
- It is in the GEODI\AppData\Dece\Logs\GEODI\AppError directory.

EngineError

There are error logs and explanations that GEODI encountered during scanning. Information such as inaccessible website, incorrect PDF, encrypted file are included in these logs.
- It is in the GEODI\AppData\Dece\Geodi\Workspaces\<ProjeAdı>\Logs\EngineError directory.

Windows Event Logs

Windows receives separate logs when running GEODI and its components.

GEODI System Report

There are various reports available for each project on the GEODI Manager/Projects Page. The system report gives an overview of the settings on the server.
