Security of usernames, passwords, and credentials

The GEODI Workspace and other sensitive data settings are encrypted, depending on the selected security level. You may choose between “everything is visible” and " settings only valid on one machine”. For example, a Database connection string or credentials for OneDrive is secure.

The default security setting is that your files only work on the server.

If you active LDAP, GEODI does not store sensitive information about a user. In case you use GEODI authorization, sensitive information is stored encrypted.

Security of the Data

GEODI processes the data and needs only read-only access. It does not copy or alter the data. The data or anything extracted from the data does not go out.

The default geodiadmin user

When you install GEODI, a default admin user and password is created. We recommend that you do not routinely use the geodiadmin user but create new users with the necessary permissions.

Logs

GEODI logs queries and other actions. These logs are generally in CSV format and can be monitored/analyzed with many SIEM tools.

Pen Tests

GEODI is continuously tested against cyber risks. Our customers in Defense, Security, and Finance sectors also routinely conduct their tests.
