Download the setup file and run it. GEODI can work as a Windows service or with a log-on user, which is essential for continuous operation.
A License code will be required during the setup. Modules included in the license will automatically be installed via DECE-STORE. If the server does not have internet access, our teams will provide modules for an offline installation.
After installation, the GEODI Manager Page opens with the address http://127.0.0.1:3323/manager. For Classification and GDE Discovery Agents, the GEODI server must be reachable from other endpoints. You may need to do DNS and SSL definitions.

The existing %appdata% directory must be moved into the new folder. After %appdata% is moved into the new directory, , which should have read/write permissions must be assigned to for the service user. The existing project(s) and license info remain valid that way.

Disk RequirementMake sure the disk has enough storage for the index and index backups. The index size is about 10% to 20% of the total data size. GEODI Logs are kept in the same area. Logs older than 90 days will automatically be deleted. |
