Purpose

This course covers the deployment of GEODI Classification tools/agents to end computers. The course covers GEODI specific topics only, it is assumed that you are familiar with ManageEngine, PDQ or any other system developed for the deployment of agentsGEODI Classifier Batch Classification

Classification Agent works on Windows EndPoints and integrastes with Microsoft Office and Desktop.

We assume that you have finished the configuration issues covered in GEODI 314.

    1. In GEODI 314, we saw that GEODI Classifier generates MSI command line ready to run.

    2. You may run the batch in each EndPoint. You may do this for PoC or for a small networks. For large networks you must use a tool like ManageEngine, SCCI or similar.

    3. GEODI Classifier Windows Client Installation page explains the MSI parameters for install, update and uninstall.

    4. Once installed, Agents will continue to check and retrieve changes for about 10minutes. The GEODI server address and Token should not change.

    5. Creatings a Tokenuser will be bets practice.

    6. Agents updates themselves when a new version is ready. The default update adres is DECE Servers.

    7. For large number of endPoints, We strongly recommend that you change and set an offline update environment for your organization. GEODI Classifier Windows Client Installation page covers offline installation details.
