When adding resources you may need a username, password, or other information. This information is stored in the GEODI Project (Workspace) and other settings.

The GEODI Workspace and other sensitive data settings are encrypted, depending on the selected security level. You may choose between “everything is visible” to “settings that are everything is visible” and " settings only valid on one machine”machine”. For example, a Database connection string or credentials for OneDrive is secure.

The default security setting is that your files only work on the respective server.

If you active LDAP, GEODI does not store sensitive information about a user. In case you use GEODI authorization, sensitive information is stored encrypted.

geodiadmin user
